Our Mandate:

Education Beyond Borders (EBB) - U of T Chapter’s mandate is to support the greater EBB mission of increasing access to quality education for all people, regardless of geographic location or socioeconomic situation. We are devoted to closing the education divide through student development and community education and through fundraising, presentations, and awareness campaigns, EBB-U of T spreads this vision to other students on campus and beyond. We focus on the building of student leaders and we believe that students have the creativity, the motivation, and the will to make a difference. The experience, generosity, and dedication they possess allow them to find innovative solutions to educational problems and execute them. Therefore, we provide students with the tools that they need to make a direct impact upon the education divide. We fundraise for schools in disadvantaged communities, assist students looking for overseas teaching experience and organize a mentorship program that educates students about Global Education, with the best intentions of aspiring them to be leaders making a difference in the world.
